Care and Feeding

| Congratulations on the purchase of a Nature's Nurture driftwood and resin lamp. Caring for your new lamp is pretty simple because there's almost nothing to do. Just dust it off occasionally with your choice of duster. I use a small paint brush to get in all the tight places. I also used "canned air" now and then to really get in to those little grooves.

| The polymer resins used in the construction of your lamp are very, very durable. Water certainly won't hurt it. Furniture polish can be used to clean the resin, also. This gets rid of all the dust and restores that "brand new" look. I recommend using the prepackaged wipes as they help guard against using too much polish and you're able to get into the tight spots better. If you find you've used too much polish, just wipe the piece a second time with a clean, lint free, cotton cloth. A dish towel will do nicely. If you'd like to keep the moss on your lamp moist, simply place a few drops of water directly onto the moss. It'll perk right up.

| It's fine to leave your lamp on a covered porch or patio. The resin does not like extreme cold, as it gets brittle. If you have purchased a tiered floor standing candle lamp with an upper "pond" and choose to leave it on your covered porch as I do in the winter, use caution when moving or handling as it may crack or break if dropped. In the summer I leave one of my lighthouse and dolphin lamps on our covered back porch. Be sure to keep the lamp out of direct sunlight as the resin will soften and the upper "pond" will droop. If this happens, it's easy to fix. If you need to heat up the resin once it's cooled, just use a blow dryer or set the lamp next to a bare bulb for a few minutes. The resin will become pliable again and you can simply gently bend the "pond" back where it belongs. The resin cools quickly, but I'm too impatient to sit there and hold it until it's cool so I prop it up with something. If you bend it too far and it's not too obvious, don't worry about it. Gravity will eventually pull it back into place

| Any little critters on your lamp are completely self sufficient and need no additional care. I wish my kid's were like that!

| These lamps are pretty tough, but if you have any problems, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'll bend over backwards to make the customer happy. I want you to enjoy your lamp for many years to come!
